Flash Forms in ColdFusion 7 has certainly proved to be a popular feature, many have tried them but found that they need to sometimes push them a little further. I'm happy to announce that I'll be presenting a session on just how you can use ActionScript to make Flash Forms jump through a few extra hoops at WebDU.

A big thanks to all those people who attended the national user group meeting that we had together in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne & Canberra last night, and to our two presenters Geoff Bowers & Nick McNaughton.
One of the highlights of the night was a CF Birthday Trivia Quiz that was in two rounds, state where each city conducted it's own quiz to choose a state champion, and national where the champions went head to head via Breeze with Brisbane the ultimate winner (after questionable scorekeeping by yours truely).

Tonight the NSW ColdFusion User Group (CFUG) is celebrating ColdFusion's 10th birthday here in Sydney and you're invited to join us.

MXDU kicked off with a bang this morning with yet another fantastic Flash animation from the guys at Nectarine. This year's Day One movie was inspired by the intro from The Incredibles movie. "Supers" based on Macromedia products were interviewed in the same style as the opening of the movie.
"Flash" was having trouble with his microphone - "it's funny, I can write thousands of lines of code but I don't know how to work one of these things...".
